That's enough. Sack him now and Parrish has to question his judgement in hiring him. I've had enough of going into work on a Monday morning to have the pee taken out of me. Make me proud again palace! Its not all about your hurt feelings.

We were so much better today but we still need some variety in our attack, but hey we didn't do anything about that in the transfer window or over the whole of last season Puncheon ineffectual, has to be dropped if RLC fit for Southampton

Oh right, Read the whole content and not just the bit you've highlighted. Confidence drained from previous results and tinkering, But since you mention it Lee is the last player 99% would pick in the same side as Puncheon when your job is on the line.

I would think he has one more game to save his job. Defeat and no goal against Saints, and SP will have no choice, especially with Man U, Man C and Chelsea next three league games. It's a worrying thought that we could no points and no goals from 7 games, and be 6 points or more from safety.

I do not want frank sacked, but when you say that lees back pass has nothing to do with the manager, i agree the quality wasnt his fault, but he encourages the team to pass back, many times in the Burnley game there were dodgy back passes, there have been other games this year with dodgy passes across the danger area, to a goalkeeper known for his dodgy kicking, so in a way the manager is responsible, when i played, ok a long time ago, a ball across the danger area was only accepted if no other option is available, Lee could have passed back to the player standijng ten yards from him, and this would never have been an issue. He chose to ignore the obvious outlet and went for glory instead - at least in the eyes of the Burnley supporters.

If I remember he didn't seem to be under pressure from a Burnley forward.

Different team today, closing down with energy right from thd start. So I'd like to know why they didn't show the same energy and comitment against Huddersfield and Swansea. And don't tell me they're playing a system they're comfortable with, most of the game schlupp was playing so far forward we were playing 3 at the back anyway.

Wrong, it is FDB's fault. He picked both Lee and Puncheon. Luka should played ahead of Puncheon and the new kid could have played ahead of Lee, or even Van Anholt at LB and Schlupp on the wing.

For me our biggest problem now lays with the squad providing Frank sticks with the 433, we've got sako, Lee, mutch who all offer nothing, puncheon is also just as useless and ineffective, the quicker we get these players off the books and replaced the better, we also have our second striker out on a long term injury. Cant blame Frank for the squad but we will need to be so lucky with injuries this season, then we still need to replace ward and hennessy. Zaha, Townsend, benteke and loftus cheek are a pretty decent front 4 but who do we have who can come on, replace them and make a difference, no one. His got his work cut out and will take a couple of transfer windows to get where we need to be and the fact we've got to get players off our books before bringing players in makes it even harder. mind you I'm sure that's what freedmans been employed to do, not really sure What qualifies him for the job tho. Providing he picks our strongest 11 when available and plays to our strength the I'm happy to stick with him , if he keeps dropping milo for puncheon, playing cheek out wide and just upsetting the whole balance of the tesm so puncheon can start then he will be sacked before Christmas anyway because there's no way we will be where we should be.

Decent performance today apart from the s*** backpass and amateurish finishing in front of goal. De Boer should be backed not put under pressure by Parish and his mates as it was they who demanded a change in style etc.

If anybody has read Cryuff's book they may change their mind about FDB. His inflexible nature may cost him, it's a regular trait of relegated teams( and managers) that they don't use their assest(players) in the right positions that they are comfortable in , especially where the balance of the team is concerned. We could mean forever about having no back up striker, but the squad we have could cover that if the team was set up well. Big Sam proved that balancing a team is important, and our squad now is improved from what he had. If we played TFM-Dann-Sakho-Schlupp as back four, with Luka and Jairo holding , that would allow Wilf , Andros and RLC or Cabaye to do their best, supporting Benteke. There are a lot of so called bottom half teams that would love all that talent.
