If you play with confidence and lose then that's acceptable.

If you have experienced and proven Premiership players yet play four games and score no goals then I'm afraid some people just aren't accepting reality.

Three of these four games were against the weaker Premiership sides...It's not as those all these sides were in a great place themselves.....these are damning realities.

Frank was a bad pick.....Great player, not a great manager.

This is your opinion and you are entitled to it. At least I suppose you touched on reasons why you feel the way you do instead of the childish impatient knee jerk 'we didn't win so he has to go' mentality.
I have my opinion and disagree. He was asked to change the way we play and has not been given enough time. Its as simple as that. That and not being supported by the board in the trsansfer market (striker? keeper?)
Huddersfield we were poor. Liverpool we were much much better and should have got something out of the game. Swansea we were statistically the better team but individual errors killed us.
Today? We have improved, we played well, an individual error gave Burnley the goal. They would not have scored otherwise. We could/should have scored at least two today but are still struggling with finishing.
I believe with the return of Wilf and RLC and the possible introduction of Sakho we will win next week if we play like that.

A 30 million pound striker misses a gilt edge chance at Liverpool and today and a man who has scored some great goals with his head in the past misses a sitter from two yards. Those misses have cost us four points so far but for some its ALL down to the Manager.

If he gets the sack then it looks like Roy or Dougie because who else in their right mind would want to come to Palace.

Behave. They, whoever they are, wouldn't turn down the job because of Croydon Lad.

If Sam had the same squad we would have had at least 6 points by now

Very Naïve assumption by OP.
We gifted Burnley the game today and they played like they had it in the bag and did little else , could not even hit us on the break.
Southampton after being done by Watford will be so up for this.

Play like that and we'll beat Southampton, such as not being able to score and making stupid mistakes.

Yeah, I can see that coming.

The only thing Puncheon is likely to get dropped from is an airborne porker.

Actually last time he got dropped to the bench it riled him up so much that he scored within about five minutes of coming on. Definitely a good idea, for all sorts of reasons.

We should have sold him in the window just there.

Play like that on Saturday and we SHOULD win, what's the betting we'll be all over them and lose to the odd goal again. Soton will be up for it having just lost at home to Watford.

The 3 games after Soton are worrying, it's highly unlikely we'll get anything out of City or Utd away and I can't see us getting anything from Chelsea at home, it's quite feasible we could be on 0 points after 8 games.

FdB's strength of character is most commendable.

If this can be replicated throughout the team as well as improving in other ways on the pitch then the 'long game' is most achievable.

The supporters MUST get behind the team. After yesterday there are so many reasons to be positive.

I thought we played really well yesterday, our mix play down the wings and through the middle and our possession play was good, I was really impressed with our performance.Townsend and Cabaye really stood out and Townsend being my man of the match, we were totally unlucky yesterday and we didn't get the break we deserved.

All the talk is about the misses and no goals in four, But how many games have we all watched, like yesterday on the box were teams have amazing not scored, that's football, other times these chances would have gone in. It's been a long time, since I can remember when we out numbered the opposition with corners and possession like we did and apart from Lee's cockup and Barnes effort what else did Burnley have.

I really can not understand what the hell Lee was doing with that back pass, there is no question Lee is Championship, not Premiership quality. The young lad Lumeka did well and I think he should have started in place of Lee. Our other weak link is Puncheon I really can not see what the f@@@ he does apart from flap his arms about at other players as though he is some midfield maestro, Milivojevic instead of Punch hands down for me every time I'm afraid. I can't wait for Sakho and RLC and Zaha to be included and I think Sakho and Fosu-Mensah would make a good centre back partnership.
