When we do go down we'll look back fondly at our Premiership era but never consider what might have been had a stupid bunch of barstewards not been running the club. Next time FDB masterminds another $hite performance on the pitch we'll never give it a second thought because I suppose we'll get used to it?

Having difficulty finding out who we have actually signed today as at 6pm.
If nobody, perhaps an effort to bring Gayle back as he will score bucket loads in the Championship next season.

Good call! I'd rather have him back than some of the tosh we are being linked with but I can't see it happening.

We are on a budget man. I've got a Man sh!tty supporting mate who insists Mangala is a very good blocker - just not. Beckenbauer-eske ball playing defender. Those several million pounds could be the difference of us having an extra player. It's really not monopoly

If we cant sign players we actually want we shouldnt sign anybody. You just end up with players nobody else wants

Seems some of you have the loan rules understandng wrong. EFL teams are limited to 5 but Prtem teams have no limits only can't loan two from same team.

Our owners are self made millionaires so you would expect them to know how to conduct business instead of last minute wondering or panic. I've suppoirted Palace for 50 years, third generation supporter (not simply fan) and again I am seeing owners who take us forward then panic and do not take us to the next stage and so we flounder and eventually go down. 30 million for Sakho is money well spent especially if we remain in the Prem league where more money will be available to give the club further stability. Can anyone argue against that thinking.

Flying the moral fair play torch might make some fel good but we should be challenging the likes of Stoke and WBA not vying for players with newly promoted clubs.

I stick with my original views, are the board stupid because their negotiational skills and business ploys in the football business is starting to be questioned.

Topcat are you seriously believing that nonsense. We have the chance to really cement our premier league position not thinking oh well we have had a good run. Get real.

So far in this window (so far) Portsmouth have spent more than us. FdB said last week there will be no panick buying 4 1/2 hours to go..... let the panick begin. We have learnt nothing in our time in the premier league and are still relegation fodder.

So we could purchase Sakho for 30 million and get Lucas Perez from Arsenal on a season long loan. Or we could spend 24 million on Mangala a proven flop and 10 million on Niasse who looked okay in a poor Hull side. Now I might not be a football expert but even I can see the Sakho and Perez option is far superior and cheaper than the Mangala/Niasse option. So why can't Parish and the board.

If Pulis ends up getting Sakho it will be a disaster.

Have you changed your knickers yet?

Not true. ..this is from thd premier league handbook..

Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.

Right, so if it was YOUR money paying for Mama Sakho would you think it was worth the stress to wait until now and save yourself circa £4M, apparently?

How stupid are the board? :/

spot on the rules are different in Prem to the rest of English leagues which I think is confusing people.

We could loan players from other countries which i do find odd we have not done so the two loans is domestic.

unless they changed the rules you could do short term loans for 6 months which was not included in that limit

That's assuming the board has been stressed over it.

It's been clear for MONTHS Sakho had agreed terms and only wanted to come to Palace.

Not sure the board would have been stressed knowing he was in our corner.

Saving 10% of our transfer kitty shouldn't be sniffed at.

Also shows that we're no mugs.
