Id say it's true. Fdb has already said he doesn't want sakho so why have we had a bid rejected for him earlier today, because the board have gone over the managers head. Whats the point having a manager if you're just going to undermine him. It's obvious that parish has made a massive mistake employing fdb so just stick your hands up and get rid of him now, it's a shambles at the moment but only 3 games in sort it while we've still got a chance.

Keep reading that sacking a manager after just three matches is ridiculous, and so it is, if that means sacking the manager just for losing three matches. But acting like an arsehole and f***ing all the players off ought to be a dismissable offence whether he's been there twenty years or twenty minutes. I hope that isn't what's going on.

Did Frank say he didn't want Sakho? I thought he talked about the expense of signing him.

Can't remember exactly what he said but sure aswell as his price he wasn't keen on his age and fitting into our system and preferred younger cheaper options. Even if it's just down to the price it still seems to me the board going over his head. Parish has already done this before with pulis and zaha. As much as I like parish, you leave footballing decisions to the manager.

If things were that bad or Frank felt he was being undermined by the board and had his successor already lined up then wouldn't he just walk? Why would he stay somewhere where the board are essentially hoping for him to fail as the twitter post seems to make out? FdB would have a lot to lose if he did walk but a hell of a lot more to lose if he was sacked within 3-6 games played just like at Inter. Anyway not long to find out if this post is complete BS or even half true, we'll see on deadline day if those players are secured. If we lose to Burnley playing 3 at the back then I sense De Boer will have to go.

Someone mentioned earlier about signings being indicative & I completely agree. I've heard and been sent a few twitter screenshots now suggesting FdB is going soon and if we are lining up the likes of Sakho, Gray, Tosuc & Diafra Sakho etc I can't see that being for populating a 'total football' team! The only other reason for that being FdB wants to change his style. Personally I think he is 1dimensional and came here with only one approach to play football which has regrettably failed spectacularly. Therefore him changing his style could be even worse for the team and his life expectancy as a PL manager! This is all hypothetical of course as the far more likely scenario looms that we will not sign anyone at all!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

As much as I like parish, you leave footballing decisions to the manager. I think Parish's finger is hovering over the button until after Burnley and possibly Southampton. I don't think Frank's left. By all accounts he took training this week. But because his position is so fragile right now Parish might feel he has to protect us from any signings that could damage this season. It doesn't mean he will be sacked either. Maybe the message was, why the rush? It's not what we agreed and the contract is for 3 years. Managers on the continent don't always sign or even in some cases sign any of the players so Frank may accept this. Both Frank and Parish's reputation is on the line. I can see both treading carefully with regards to their own interests.

I hope this isn't true, but I think it may be. Sad, because I'm sure Frank is a good guy who means well, and this whole situation is a serious clusterf*** of epic proportions.

Hope the f#ck it's true and FDB deserves the boot if that's the case . Get rid now before he upsets the tea lady also. Sounds like he's paused of just about everyone else. But as iv said before, believe none of what you read and half of what you see till 11pm tomorrow night. Seriously, you hope it is true that the manager is a total dick and the chairman hates him? That would be great for the club.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

5 managers in one season 1980/81. Reckon we might push that record close this year.
