No, but he covered all that....I was just as angry....but water under the bridge and all that.

I'm afraid I have no knowledge as to what excuse he gave for leaving the club.Perhaps you would care to kindly elucidate.

In fairness that probably helped us dodge a bullet in a roundabout way.

I understand from my contacts at the club that Ian Dowie is shortly to be appointed as Assistant Sporting Director. Approaches have also been made to Steve Bruce and Tony Pulis. Exciting times.

I would not have given him another job ever.
Are there not any people available who actually have experience of being a sporting director?

This smacks of Parish's obsession with old Palace players.

Don't care what he did or didn't do before I only care about us staying in the Prem.

So obviously I am disappointed with this decision. We clearly don't trust our manager, after 2 games.

De Boer can say all he wants about how pleased he is with the appointment - he's clearly never heard of Dougie and who wants a wannabe manager in the background?

BIG game on Saturday. Let that be our focus for now.

When i saw the headline on newnow I was hoping it would be Sir Steve; the word legend is so overused nowadays
