Yep, if you don't nip it in the bud you'll end up tacitly supporting white sumpremacism.

Haven't read the story. Will post laterer when I have.

You have no understanding of middle ground, do you.

I understand what Sarah Champion meant and it's a valid argument. However, whether it was a poor way of phrasing or the Sun stitching her up or both, the message has come across poorly. Added to the fact that it meant the Sun was emboldened enough to cite Champion when using the phrase, 'the Muslim problem in an editorial. It's almost like they're seeing what they can get away with.

There are ways of getting your point over but you can't, as a labour shadow minister walk into a 'suntrap'.

I would like to know what Corbyn's actual view is but it's a comment on modern life that he could not give it.

Otherwise we simply think what she said was true but labour is not big enough to face the truth.

Yep. Because that is way more important than young white girls being raped unchallenged.

Seek help.

You can't equate the 2. The rhetoric is that all pakistani men should be viewed with suspicion.
That's like saying all white men should be viewed with suspicion because of the crimes of Jimmy Seville at al.

Mr Corbyn said he accepted Ms Champion's resignation, saying his party would not "blame any particular group or demonise any particular group [and] the issue is one of safety of individuals."
He added he was looking forward to working with her in the future because she is "totally committed to protecting vulnerable women".

That is clearly ridiculous, but people will develop a strategy to protect themselves using the most basic premise, as you know. That is human nature.
However, we can't allow very nasty crimes to go unpunished because the perpetrators fit or have become a stereotype. That is an unfortunate side efect.

Sadly, there are still several Muslim countries where rapists avoid punishment if they offer to marry the victim. Rape was used as a weapon of war & terror-inducing tactic by "the prophet", who from what I've read, said women-including married ones- who were not Muslim were free to rape and take as slaves. His own sexual relations with a 9 year old are quietly accepted/ignored by the faithful and are bound to affect attitudes of some, though not all, followers of Islam. Because of this there is a likelihood that gangs such as the one in Rotherham are likely to emerge. Not all Muslims are rapists, but some teachings and attitudes make some predisposed to attitudes which lead to disrespect of women they consider inferior, don't you agree?

In truth, given that almost all rapists and child sex offenders are male, and those that aren't typically facilitate abuse by men - It would probably be advisable for any man to be view with suspicion, irrespective of race.
