Get real it is about opinions and yours are different to mine and many others. Wayne is a f****** liability at times because he stands there like a spare pr1ck at a wedding and his arms flapping about in the wind. He could not catch a cold if I am honest and if he watched the play of football he might do a bit better. His reactions are that of a striking slug and seems frightened to dive quickly in case he gets dirty knees.
I suggest you watch Wayne more closely at matches and you will see he is so slow in his movements he just lets balls fly past him and into the net. You cannot blame the other team members for his letting so many goals in, THREE yesterday if I remember correctly, and you cannot say we have a set weak defenders either. Wayne's job is to stop the other team sticking the ball in his net...BUT he just does not do it. Some people on here including you find so many reason to not stick any blame on him for some reason. I am glad that the club is going all out to find a new goalkeeper as we certainly need one to stop the rot. I fully realise that the team are playing in a different formation now but in my opinion it does not suit them and we do not have the correct players to play like it. I was not at the match yesterday but had to watch a stream and our players seemed really out of sorts and some did not want to be there by the look on their faces. I hear that the Palace fans booed the team off at the end but if they did, then they must realise that the players are playing out of their comfort zone and will be for a while yet. Wayne should be aware of this and commanding his area and shouting his head off... I did not see him doing this yesterday in fact he stood there like a stuffed dummy for a good part of the match. I like many others who have openly said on these forums that when they see Waynes name on the team sheet they despair these days.
You have your opinion on Wayne and I have mine so lets respect each others views and hope SP can sort the goalkeeping problem out as I think from what I hear he is after a decent Dutch goalkeeper. We shall have to wait and see what happens.
