He will be playing back up to Fosu-Mensah if he stays. No way he'll be playing CB.

He has consistently played on the right for Manure, has the legs and likes to get forward. If he plays in the back 3 we'd have a 20 year old and a 19 year old either side of Dann and that gives me chills. I expect a CB to come in.

Ward has been a wonderful player for Palace and someone who we have all probably taken a bit for granted. It does look like he is not rated by FdB in the RWB positition so it probably makes sense for him to move on. Personally, I will miss him. He has always given 100% and always been first choice as RB. Probably time to move on now both for him and the club

LCB - Riedwald/Delaney/Dann/Tomkins LWB - PVA/Schlupp/Pape It's obviously better to have left footed players on the left of a back three but not essential. Also Kelly at RWB would be at a stretch, Frank has played 4-3-3 in the past so we'd likely switch to that if we were very thin. Edited by Alex1991 (10 Aug 2017 12.42pm)

He's been a great servant but if he wants first team football and we can't guarantee it then I hope he enjoys his football elsewhere. No point keeping a squad player when they want regular first team football. He'll be missed
