I thought 'April Fool' at first, despite it being August and was prepared to dismiss it out of hand. Then I started to remember the other times I've read headlines that couldn't possibly be true (Steve Bruce/Dougie/Pulis/Big Sam quitting, Palace due to fold by 4pm in May 2010, Clattenburg given the job of officiating at the Cup Final) and I began to worry. It's just so terribly Palace to get all our ducks in a row and then shoot ourselves in the foot. I'm off to bed but I shan't sleep well.

Thing to remember there is that SP and the rest of CP2010 are fans. This meaning that they will think like the rest of us about things like this. Meaning that (hopefully) they would only see this happen over their dead bodies.
