I don't think the question is 'what now for UKIP'.

The point of UKIP was realised....Perhaps Nick and people with similar views may be enjoying their bumping along the bottom but for most of us UKIP was always a one policy party. UKIP was a force amongst Labour voters as well as Tory ones.

If Brexit turns into...not really Brexit at all...and the country doesn't have immigration control then UKIP could come back just as quickly as it disappeared.

I was rather hoping UKIP would remain a force to ensure the Conservatives couldn't bottle Brexit at all but they lost their voters (perhaps because the voters thought the job was done) before Brexit had concluded. Let them off the hook a bit there possibly.

We will see I suppose.

I suspect that regardless of the outcome of Brexit, some people will complain that it wasn't 'strong enough', even if we nuked Paris in the process.

From what I'm seeing France are doing a good enough job of gradually destroying Paris all by themselves.

Which is exactly what I voted for but Theresa May has run off on her own agenda thinking she knows what people voted for. Down with that sort of thing.

Waters selection as UKIP leader would see the remaining UKIP MEP's leave the party en masse, and the party taken over by ultra right wing extremists; another version of BNP or EDL. But they wouldn't attract any Tory/Labour supporters, so would be an even smaller fringe group (they wouldn't have enough members to form a "party" in any meaningful sense.

When it comes to ukip and waters I don't bother with the Huffington post, they paint her as some kind of right wing ultra facist when in reality she is quite left of centre, she is however deeply anti Islam and with good reason being a lesbian.
Waters popularity is considerable.

She becomes the ukip leader or she forms a new party which will consume the majority of ukip voters.

In the Survation poll, UKIP is surging, from 4% to 2%.
This is the spectre that haunts Labour in the North.

You seem rather excited that a force you had already written off has got a bit weaker!

Well, Brexit is happening so your gladness is kind of moot.

I would vote to move the whole French population to Azerbaijan.
