We looked at Season tickets but for the four in the family and when we worked out that night games are a no go for the kids memberships worked out better than the £1600 or so I would have to shell out for the ST.

In saying that, I've no interest in the tat that they send out as 'membership packs' and they are just another money stream.

If they weren't then the best way for a membership to work would be club charge the £50 or so at the start of the season for the membership but discount each of the 19 home games by an equal amount (50/19) so the fan can recover the cost of the membership. Recovered totally if they go to all home games. Shows some community spirit, fan gets membership cost back if attend all games and the club doesn't have to hold and pay for stock of tat membership packs (which they always get criticised for)
