Am I the only one totally bored with the media wetting themselves over this deal? It is big - yes! He's a good player - yes! But BORINGGGGG!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

Guys, all fans who watch Sky, or go to games are fuelling this flow of football funds. QIA are obviously using football to strengthen their global position. They own Al Jazeira tv, Man City PSG and now have the world cup.
I don't want to get too alarmist, but you will see these guys must seriously see football as an area to spread their message whatever that may be.
They are growing enormously now. They must have a bigger agenda.

As they say......money talks.

They're Abu Dhabi owned, not Qatari. You're getting your sovereign wealth funds mixed up.

Qatar won't care much if the oil runs out, Pussay Patrol. They've got one of the world's largest reserves of natural gas.

The funniest parts of this transfer is La Liga acting like they've got any morals when it comes to sanctioning obscene transfer fees, since they were allowing €60-80m transfer fees around 15-20 years ago, and the fact that still no one will watch Ligue 1.

Optimistic as ever

At that price we should have at least be in contact with his agent. He may have wanted to come to Selhurst?

So, your saying that the owners "QSI" or "Qatar sports investments" is not actually a Qatari company ? Interesting because they are listed as being HQ'd in Doha.

Football has now gone too far. Its time for United,City, Chelsea, Real, Barca and PSG to go their own way and play exhibition matches against each other in China or wherever. What these clubs win is deemed meaningless now. Leave the rest of us to get on with real football

Nope. He, mistakenly, said they owned Man City too.

So, all the reports and pictures of Nasser Al-Khelaifi (a Qatari national) buying Neymar, owner of PSG, having pictures taken with Neymar and his new shirt. Its all fake news.

Sorry I posted incorrectly. Man City have different owners and I meant QSI not QIA.

I heard that we've pipped everyone else to the signing, in other news the season tickets for the coming year will be 2.5m each.

Barcelona are going to try and sue him for breach of contract, over a bonus payment made when he signed his last contract.

They're making themselves look like a bunch of dicks quite frankly.

I hope Neymar pays up, otherwise Tony Pulis will start getting ideas again.
