Likewise Tom, been trying to contact them & find out what occurred with their alleged meeting yesterday to discuss when & if CPFC would get an allocation. It's being left late but I've already made travel arrangements after the announcement and will be most unhappy if it goes t**s up and costing me.

11th July Palace announced this friendly with a note that ticket information would follow.
I have spoken to the box office twice, once being told there was a meeting on Friday (yesterday) and then late Friday afternoon was told something will be put on Website.
Still nothing, 4 of us waiting to book ferry and hotel this is a very poor show by Palace to keep supporters in the dark and whoever is responsible for organising this friendly without thinking of supporters wanting tickets should be ashamed and give a proper explanation

If Palace don't get an official allocation of tickets, then 'General public' print at home etickets can be bough online on the Metz club website. It's not too hard to translate and purchase. Not perfect, but just saying.

Anyone know of a good pub/bar/fine-dining establishment that those of us traveling to Metz can hook up at and get the party started?

There is a bistro called 'Kristal Palace' on Rue Gambetta, not far from the station. No idea what it's like, though, as I've never been. We do plan to visit, possibly on Friday night...

[Link] Here's the link to their website.

By it's name alone, one has to go there!

Cheers. We're flying in early doors Saturday, will swing by - seems a well named joint

Emailed the club on Friday requesting ticket info, they emailed me back today the below.
Im now not going to bother going just to sit in the away end.

Dear Tom,

Thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately FC Metz have not given us an allocation of tickets to sell for this game as of yet, it appears online they are only selling tickets to home fans.

If we do receive an allocation or any other means for our fans to buy tickets for this game, we will get this information announced on our official club website.

Kind regards

Sam C

I've tweeted a Steve Parish in an attempt to get this resolved -

Such a shambles - unsure whether to negotiate the FC Metz tickets site in order to get a ticket!

Have already got flights/train/hotel booked for this!

A word of warning with the FC Metx site option, I did buy tkts from them and have a detailed receipt, however it tells me in the email

We confirm that your order has been successfully saved and you are very grateful for that.Your e-tickets are available on your account, under "My e-tickets", you must enter the beneficiaries before you can download and print your etickets. We remind you that the e-tickets are strictly nominative. You can change the beneficiary of the ticket in the "My e-tickets" section -"Modify the beneficiary" (excluding Offer Travel).

However, it doesn't recognise my login details and I can't print them off.
