But personally I think Parish is looking long term at one or two of the kids breaking through and has said he doesn't want to block their paths buy signing people in there place until they've been given a crack. At least that's what I took from the end of season interview he gave. Hence loftus-cheek loan being ideal, brings a fresh body into central midfield but as it's only temporary it doesn't block progression steves hoping will happen.

Agreed...but there again I was surprised to see that he'd played so many games..like others I always considered him to be forever injured, and he only got injured because he was having the s*** kicked out of him vs Spurs. Maybe he is worth a punt?? Certainly worth consideration.

Not quite sure how much they've spent these last couple of seasons but I have a feeling its more than we have...plus they're looking to divert money to a new ground.
