I would be hesitant at the least. He does have the name to difficult here too but i that respect the deciding factor for me would be that de Boer knows him very well from his time as assistant manager at the Dutch national team. If he would think him suitable then he may able to do a job for us but I would spent the money on someone younger.

Yes I would like that too. Now that Campbell and Appiah have gone it will be interesting to see if FdB likes Lapado and Anderson or we move them on.
Maybe Lemeka or Baptiste get a chance, they of course wouldn't take a squad place.
If we do see an academy player come through then RvP would be a good signing for a year as he would add so much craft and experience.

The erdedvise, like liga nos is like a development league. There's talent there but for me would be a nightmare scenario if we bought say 6 players from holland. Holland didn't even qualify for the euros in 2016. Let's not make it our only source of players. If big Sam was in charge would we even consider these players. I highly doubt it.

I think he might bring in 2-3 which if quite a lot. We certainly seem to be strongly linked with Tete, Veltman and RVP. All 3 look pretty good to me. Tete stats look good and is possibly the biggest risk. Spurs want Veltman which suggests he is decent. RVP is maybe was a great player.

Sam bought PvA.

The only Dutch player I think we may get is weitman. I don't think frank will want people to think he's only knowlegeble on thd Dutch league. Most of these rumours are only because he's Dutch and worked with them before.

Not sure how Tete is a big risk when he's likely to cost us under £5m. Probably be the least risk of any signings in the last few years. Sign him up I say.

Personally think the RVP reports are just click bait linking us to a Dutch player that used to play in Prem. I doubt these any substance to that one, however he would be great to be in the squad if he came for the right price and if he was accepting that his role was a bit part. Still thinking we should go all out to sign Iheanacho but boy would I be happy if RVP signed as well.

Benteke, Iheanacho, RVP, Wickham.

Sick line up.....

GK Vorm isn't really very exciting but a good backup to Wayne if and when Steeeeve leaves
More exciting would be Zoet out of contract in 2019 might be worth a punt.

RB Tete I have seen as a suggestion, completely agree he would be a great signing, perhaps we could intercept Karsdorp to Roma move?

At CB I see that Chelski are interested in Riedewald but the young man must realise that he probably wouldn't get a game. Also we could look at St Juste that Pool seem to be interested in.

How about van Ginkel that PSV seem to want to sign following the loan from Chelski?

Its going to be as interesting a summer as the last one was, Frank is ready to spend

Parrot

Blimey, we actually landed the one I didn't really expect us to. Welcome Riedewald.

If we pick up Martins Indi we will nearly have a Dutch back four!

Is this the same nation that failed to qualify for the euros, that even Northern Ireland and Wales qualify for. Let's have a bit of perspective holland are the team, they once were.

Yep but they weren't playing in the Premier League.

Anyway I m happy with the purchase and Indi would be even better. Especially as we could sing the Indianna Jones theme tune!

The same nation that came third at the last World Cup....

I'd take that over our 'recent' history. Not sure we should be digging them out over their national record.

Glass houses and stones come to mind.

And there are plenty of England internationals being touted at stupid prices despite failing feebly and in complete ignominy in both the World Cup and the Euros.

Palace looking good with Riewald deal through. I'm looking forward to this season. This is definitely a move upwards for Palace. I can see us being around tenth on the table with a vibrant academy that will attract some gifted youths. FDB looks the goods and I am very impressed with his leadership. I like what he said about complimenting Zaha on not being drawn in to the constant fouls - very clever and great use of positive psychology.
