Not being funny, he once saved the club and owned the club. I for one think he is entitled to an opinion and his opinion will inevitably be picked up in the media more so than the everyday fan.

Fair play to him.

This.

Without SJ there would be no CPFC.
I don't recall any else hanging around in the background hoping to step in and buy the club when he did.

One of my favourite players of the PL era was Timmy Cahill and we nearly had him but Jordan had to play billy big bollocks with the agent and we went down on the last day.

According to Jordan he had no intention of signing with us but used us to manoeuvre a transfer to Everton.

What you call "billy bollocks I call principles and many of us agreed at the time that the clubs should take a stand against greedy agents but unfortunately the other clubs were too scared to go along with it

That is correct ME and helped raise the transfer fee for his mate Theo Paphitis Chairman of Millwall at the time.

I suspect it was 'Talksport' who contacted him for his comments not the other way round.

I agree, but they only do it because they know what dross will come out. Makes no difference either way they're well suited to each other.

You have his opinions about his comments.
Others might have a different viewpoint.
At the end of the day everyone is entitled to their opinions and of course they often don't meet with pandemic approval.

I might be wrong but I think it was Moyes who signed Cahill for £2 Mill and he did well for Everton with his goalscoring prowess from midfield.

Was talking to a Millwall supporter last season and he broached the subject of Cahill. He said he was really good in the air for his height and in one season of the 14 goals he scored, 11 were towering headers.

Not sure what Cahill is doing on the football front at present.

Will was talking to my son who lives in Sydney which is in Australia.
Yesterday he was talking to someone in the Crystal Palace Pub who happened to be a Melbourne City fan and said that Tim plays for them.
He also said that he is still in the Australia team.
And likes to have Tea in the afternoons with Jedinak.

As I remember it, Jordan raised the issue of agents demanding payments from clubs for their clients to sign, which is what Cahill's agent was trying to do. He rightly, in my view, pointed out that this kind of double dipping was, and still is, not on.
