I think you'll find the left were seeing if botched interviews are dealt with in the same way. The Abbott thread grew much more quickly with people itching to put the boot in.

Apart from the comparisons being highly subjective I personally have never got my hands dirty with this ridiculous form of criticism. Everyone makes mistakes in interviews and it's....how shall we put it...petty in the extreme.

So forgive me if I think this is just an excuse to put the boot into the Tories only real candidate with charisma.

It won't work anyway but I still find this....'oh look at this interview', 'oh look at that interview' at bit like childish playground criticism and hence annoying.

This guy is an utter fool. A bully and a t*** and is so incredibly out of touch with the average voter. It would be a dark day indeed if he was PM. Hope he goes more and more airtime and is shown to be the knumpty he clearly is.

All been said about Boris before but he just wins elections.

Yep, give him all the airtime there is and scream and shout as much as you like.

When it comes to Boris I don't think it'll make much difference.....People either like someone or they don't.

He's shore up the base and get a lot of the 'don't knows'.

I hope those that slagged Abbott off have a similar field day with this pillock.

You know they won't, they're far too blinkered!
What that crowd also miss about Abbott is just how well loved and respected she is in her own constituency. Like her or not, and I'm not a fan, she's not a moron like Boris!

What gets me about the buffoon that is Boris is that he and Gove are proven liars and yet still keep their jobs and the right love them. I guess that in itself speaks volumes.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

I would love it if you got the Lyndon Crosby gig and went for that snap election to prove your theory.

I agree that he'd appeal to the Tory base, but both main parties have a base of around 30% of the electorate - the rest are up for grabs.

Boris would get thumped nationally. Let's hope so, and soon!

Similar was said of Trump...

If nothing else, the last few elections/referenda have shown that there's no such thing as a foregone conclusion anymore.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Just stop trying to excuse away Dianne Abbots ineptitude. No one believes she is useless because she has diabetes.

Give it up comrade.
