Morning Terrier, if I was a betting man I wouldn't put my money anywhere near Budd for relegation.

You have a good-ish spirited team, a good manager and a good owner. Ingredients for a stable season.

Good luck (mostly) for 17/18.

Welcome to the PL. I am sure the Terriers will prove many critics wrong and if Burnley stayed up, why cant you guys?! And you do have a superb manager! However, I do hope Palace get three points from you in August

Quite, they're in the same position we were after promotion. Their story isn't too different either, having been fighting against relegation one season, play off champions the next. Its a magic feeling and if anything I think they arguably have a better squad than we had at the time (at least in terms of how they performed over the season in the championship).

Plus my family friend Mike is a huge Terriers fan so I'm really hoping they do well in all but two games (and even then maybe finish respectable losers)

Agreed. We came up with Zaha gone, Bolasie injured for three months and Murray out for a year. We had 3 points after 10 games. Miraculous how we stayed up, let alone came 11th, just shows with good management and team spirit the Premier League isn't all about how big a club you are.

Welcome mate

Was up at the John Smiths, think it was a Wednesday night, last time we played you,was impressed with your stadium...we lost 1-0.

2 games you have to lose..against us
2 games you have to win...against the Weed

Good luck with your season but not too much,if it comes down to you or us to go down or the other way and into Europe.

I like Huddersfield, an unassuming 'small' team like ourselves.

Last time I saw Palace v Huddersfield was in the Championship just before Christmas, must have been our promotion season. 1-1 draw and bitterly cold.

Yannick hit the bar with an over head kick and Wilf scored ... or was that another game?

I have a good northern 'Contact' who resides in Longwood and he is a Huddersfield supporter.
We have had chats last season about the club, including Wagner's signings from Germany.

Of course a famous Huddersfield supporter was Harold Wilson.
Frank Worthington started his league career at Huddersfield and England's full-back from the 1966 World Cup winning team, Ray Wilson, played for the club.
Bill Shankly managed the club.

I was at huddersfield's last game in the old division 1 back in season 71-72. It was an awful 0-0. They were crap and went down, we were crap and stayed up for another year....

To suggest I used 'Wiki' for this information is total and utter hogwash.
You might NOT be aware that I used to partake in a very challenging football quiz league and had to pour over facts in the 'Rothmans Yearbook'. It's an on-going process as far as I am concerned !

You might need 'Wiki' for such facts but alas I don't !!!!

I DO know a bit about football I shall have you know - As an owner of a 'Local' said to me "You are a football encylopedia" - alas, I was divulging details without use of any PC or phone !!!!!

I shall treat the comments with disdain.

And who can forget the F.A Cup 5th round in 1929 when we suffered a humiliating 5 -2 defeat in that awful snow covered pitch . I distinctly remember saying to Prime minister James Ramsey McDonald and RRon Noades mother how cold it was and if memory serves me right I seem to recall a young Jesse Owens was a ball boy that day .

Shed 7 - Maroon 5 . A real end to end encounter !
