Whether it's fire containment or escape options, there have to be solutions.

It may be a difference in building code between offices and residential. I don't support it but even say 6-8 story business units have sprinkler systems

Probably just built long before strict regulations. Compare these 1950s and '60s hollowly blocks with balconies and wind tunnels to the new style although this new cladding and aluminium rumour cause sounds inexcusable.

Some of these blocks near the river in south London have 24 hour manned security on the ground floor. If this one did a manual alarm could've been raised. This sh1t must worry every high rise council tenant around.

It was Beko in the tragedy last time. I'm surprised people buy them after that. I avoided their appliances recently.

yeah,that was them rudi, beko, six dead at moment, can see a lot more unfortunately by end of the week

dead at least 100, and I reckon you could double that at least with 120 flats, and poor escape instructions, plus plastic cladding.

If I had similar cladding outside my flat I would be levering off with a crowbar.
