Wait for the runaway greenhouse effect to take hold. There won't be much doubt about it then. We'll be sozzled into extinction like the Martians (who, for the benefit of my imagination, definitely existed before their atmosphere was trashed).

Well, Mars' atmosphere was "trashed" when solar winds ripped away its magnetic field, but I get your overarching point. As an aside, it's interesting how so many billionaires are now interested in colonising Mars. The adage goes that, at the end of the day, you can't breath money; but I think these arrogant f***tards truly believe that their money will allow them to escape the ruination of Earth by moving to Mars. I don' think they've thought it through, though, because if it's only billionaires up there, who's going to be around to look after them? I don't see Trump (even though he's not actually a billionaire) farming potatoes in the Koch brothers' s***.

Less vivid, maybe, because of it's distance from the Sun. Anyway, Mars is old news...our search for ET is all about Enceladus now.

Yes, the left are always right about absolutely everything - especially fracking.

Despite the Al Gore lies yes its real and to solve it we need to all go vegetarian. The go green taxes are annoying but sadly do work. Wind farms are now more efficient than nuclear for example. Parrot

I believe man made climate change is real. I am also sceptical about the dual rise of renewables and electrification of transport to help turn the tide, sadly. I also believe that natgas will be a disappointing bridging fuel (assuming I am wrong about renewables/electrification not offering a sunlit upland of carbon frre driving). Lastly Ray, I'm not sure natgas is pushing out coal quite like you say.

Yes, the left are always right about absolutely everything - especially fracking. Since when is Climate Change, Pollution and Global Warming a left wing issue? Surely its an environmental issue that irrespective of your political basis. Making it about left and right, is just a means of deflecting from the evidence. Which is first, that its real, and that secondly there is a very significant correlation between human activity and global warming / Climate change. Don't listen to the hyper and the hyperbole, it takes a deliberate effort of denial when reading the evidence to a) believe its not happening b) that human industry is not at least a major contributing / stimulating factor.

No, global warming isn't real. But Father Christmas is. And so is the Tooth Fairy. Incredible that anyone should even ask such a question. On the one hand almost everyone with any scientific understanding of the issue will tell you global warming is very real indeed. On the other hand Trump tells you it isn't. Wonder which one is best informed?
