He's a younger, continental version of Pardew.

Although a SE London lad, living up north, they love this bloke. Seems a good manager. Vile team and owners, never fought for him. I would be more than happy to see him treading the technical area at Selhurst.

Your assured hatred of Marco Silva is bizarre. He inherited a team substantially worse than us with substantially less money and less of an attraction for players to join. That Hull team were pretty much dead and buried when he arrived, the fact they were even in with a shout against us is a testament to him as a coach. You do realise his record was pretty much identical to Sams right? You know the guy who's just left and had players such as Sakho, Zaha, Cabaye, Townsend, Benteke etc at his disposal? Imagine what this guy could do with backing and a full season under us. Marco Silva is 100% the guy for me.

He did an outstanding job given Hull's resources. Would be happy with him, Monk or Mancini. Really don't want an old fart. Yep to those. All of Parish's appointments I've wanted and agreed with and Silva the same. Even Warnock was the right person as there was no one else available at that short notice with transfer business done and to be done and it was known Parish wanted Pardew and Pardew was getting closer to wanting out of Newcastle after a few events he experienced which were out of order.

dont quite understand the marco silva love in tbf...he took them down with acsquad that actually cost quite a lot to assemble. would be a risky appointment if you ask me.

With both Southampton and Watford supposedly also chasing him he seems in high demand from our rivals. Hull had a terrible squad at the beginning of the season, further weakened in Jan and he gave it a good go. Maybe a fresh approach beyond the old guard is now required ?

Didn't they have 15 or so players at the beginning of the season ? If so I'd say that they were the most ill prepared team to ever enter the Prem, apart from us under Ollie.
