Sams thought on fans expectations for next season:-

According to this report big Sam don't expect a push for Europe. After another season in the top flight. In august beginning our 5th consecutive season in the top flight. What are your expectations for next season ?

I personally be happy with our safety secured by march - early April and a much better home form.

Your feelings on next season-

Agreed and hoping to break into top 10. Fewer injuries as well that needs to be club discussion point by way of preparing for next season. Not fussed about cup competitions unless we can secure depth in squad to accommodate league and cup formats.

Until we know what squad we will have its hard to say.

If Sam gets in the players that he wants ( I trust him in the market ) and we retain Wilf, then I reckon on upper mid table, around where West Brom are this season.

You say it's "Not impossible" I say it's "Wholly unrealistic".We would have to finish above the likes of Man Utd, Man C, Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea.

I like to think I am being realistic about our future prospects.

It may be unrealistic, however we have a higher wage bill than spurs. If we stayed injury free with 3 quality additions. Knowing your expectations you have us relegated by march. Every season you aim as high as you can. In the season where we were 5th before the turn of the year before sliding down the league due to the cup run. A lot of fans thought European football was insight.

Eh ?

I think you will find that Tottenham's wage bill might be more than double our wage bill.

If you think our wage bill is high than Spurs your dreaming. Sunderland has a much higher wage bill than us and are about £150m in debt.
The club needs to be run correctly to have any chance of future success, its a long haul to become established in the Premier.
I expect a mid table finish next year. We will finish this year higher than clubs that were not regarded as in danger of relegation, the same will happen next year.

The madness is starting early this year. Even Leicester do not expect to win the league next year and they actually won it last year. There is absolutely no justification for saying that we should expect to win the league next year - except perhaps for some completely made up statistics.

Seriously, I don't want to see another season with a rubbish squad - like last year. If we spend to win the league then that is what we will get. The difference between the best players in our 25 man squad and the worst was just too great - strength in depth and safety some time in March is all that we are entitled to expect.

To win more games than we lose would be realistic and a refreshing change.

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

Top 10 finish and win the FA Cup

Allardyce hasn't got a history of giving the FA cup priority. His best season was in 2004/05 when Bolton reached the Quarter Finals. I expect he will make a lot of changes to the team for cup games and won't be too upset if we go out in the early rounds.

The general public are not privy to confidential details about individual player's contract terms.Lot of it is pure speculation.

The line up against hull cost over 100m. This isn't the same club that couldn't afford to sign Jose Baxter . There's realistically at least 8 clubs we should be above and to aim for 40 pts before a ball kick. There's no point being in the prem, where's the progression. We got a 32m striker, Zaha could be on over 100k a week. They haven't joined Palace to just get to 40 pts.
