???

Do you know his scoring record ? Has scored 20+ league goals twice. Last season and once in the conference.

If we do go down (it is still entirely possible) then who will be laughing then?
We should be happy that Brighton are promoted as this will add spice to next season and it will be a pleasure to welcome back Murray and Gayle - as long as .........

There's a few on here who need to lighten up a bit. If we can't laugh at a Brighton disappointment then we may as well spend our lives in abject misery. They've been wetting themselves with excitement wondering where the trophy would be presented and whether they should go for a second pitch invasion and how exciting the ticker tape parade would be. It was the icing and cherry on their promotion cake and, whilst most sets of fans wouldn't be that bothered, it's eating them up. If we can't enjoy that, then we'll never enjoy anything.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

If I were a Brighton fan I wouldn't give two hoots about not going up as Champions, the only thing that matters is getting promoted.

Would seriously hold back on all the piss taking and chortling at the moment. COULD come back to bite people . Not mathematically safe as yet and we are the ones who could end up the laughing stock

To be crowned champions is superb and the pride in that title is one you smile about all summer. To be promoted as runners up is good all the same, but being champions is much better and something the seaweed will be gutted about.
I have congratulated the only Brighton person i know with a message:"congratulation on coming 2nd"

I haven't got my "Palace Relegated 2017" scarf yet, because I like to wait until it's confirmed.

We can laugh at Brighton for that at least

We might go down, but they will have bought Champions scarves and f'ed it up.

But that is so unlike Brighton fans to be so presumptive,....guffaw.
I bet they had the coach booked for the victory parade and loads of merchandise specially made.

I disengage, I turn the page.

Surely all the Brighton fans missed the last 10 minutes anyway and haven't realized that Newcastle ended up winning the league.

The quote of the day on NSC sums them up:

Yep, we were just along to your left with another smaller group of BHA. I was surprised by the verocity of Villa fans celebrating their equaliser. If they do that against us, I'm steering we'll clear of the Brum derby! They absolutely went mental not in a joyous way but a f uck you, aggressive hatred way. Like it was their Cup Final and we've had a long history of trouble with 'em. For a team finishing 13th with nothing to play for, it was a bit bizarre. Pure jealousy I reckon. Anyway, fair play to them. If we were in their position the Amex would have been empty long before their late equaliser. For a nothing goal in a nothing game I genuienly haven't seen such wild celebrations by home fans we were sat amongst. Had all the relevance of an Alex Revell pre season equaliser against Aldershot. Yet they went ballistic! Weird! Just weird!

Their best season in decades has been ended in bitter disappointment.

Yeah, shame, it would have been good to see a local team win it. But it's good to see the players we should never have sold scoring the goals that made promotion possible
for Brighton {Murray 23 goals in 47 appearances} and Newcastle {Gayle 22 goals in 26 appearances}. Both clubs leading goal scorers! Well done lads
