Bar Swansea winning all their remaining games, beat Hull and we’re safe. That’s by no means a given, knowing Palace and what’s the betting for the Hull game we’ll get given a certain referee whose surname begins with C, ends with g and has three syllables, so he has one last chance to scr3w us over. He’s already ref’d West Brom v Hull and Arsenal v Hull this season and he’s only had one of our games so far. It’s written.

c***enburk ref'd his LAST game on these shores y/day WBA v Leicester

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

If your talking about clattenberk, he did his last game in this country yesterday. So, he won't be around.

Oh OK. Thanks for that, but he has already made one U-turn this season....

1 point against Hull and we will be absolutely fine. And I think if we play for the point we can get it - against Burnley we took control of possession, and as usual struggled to do anything with it. If we don't put pressure on ourselves to go forward and win we'll probably do better.

If Swansea lose tomorrow they have to win all 3 games. Incredibly unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.

Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what Oldham had to do all those years ago.

I am confident we will get the point required.

As many people have echoed, we looked exhausted yesterday and Burnley were sharp, strong and deserved to win. Yes..Ok the officials were awful...but the players have produced some amazing results the last few weeks....no complaints.

One positive thing to mention, at the end of the game the reaction from the Palace fans was excellent. I stayed to watch - and we still gave them an ovation.....a huge difference from when we lost to Sunderland.

Well, Utd are huffing and puffing v Swansea at the moment. Lucky not to be a goal down.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Manchester United 1 Swansea 0 Rooney 45 (pen).

Just the same kind of foul as Wilf won against Arsenal. Pundits seem to think it was a dive, but looked like a pen to me. Guess the greater commercial interest is in keeping United in the European places.

A Rashford dive apparently.

Presumably they have the same excuse of tiredness as us, having played on Thursday. Rest assured they'll be firing on all cylinders on the final day of the season.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I was thinking that very same thing.
