Third World country's bring Third World problems. London is a helluvalot more entertaining, interesting, vibrant and cosmopolitan than it was back in the 70's. Especially Sundays when back then the centre and periphery were like a ghost town during the day. More noise, pollution and expense for sure but now it is a World city. You can still get your fix of the olde London in the huge swathes that is the SW of it.

It doesn't really affect us now ... he (the Burka) was sacked and replaced by Allardyce last December!

It would make you laugh because you have tunnel vision. That's true, and I do wish it wasn't a thing. But its the world we live in that some, a very few people, do wish to wear it. I think we should certainly promote the right not to wear it in the UK and to protect those who choose not to, but it is fairly rare among Muslims (the Burkha).

True. You can't get fish 'n' chips in London no more, nor pubs, nor livemusic or comedy or nightclubs and all the beautiful historic buildings have been turned into extremist mosques by the muslamics. Restaurants only sell halal meat too

The veil is equally oppressive, just not as overt.

Give it time Kermy. Yeah, perhaps. Muslims make up 3% of the population and the pious ones must make up at least 0.3% so it could happen any day now, i suppose.
