And amongst 10/11/12 year old boys today everything that is uncool is 'gay'.

Something they will grow out of. No need for them to be taken to one-side and re-educated as they wouldn't understand yet.

Rather the neighbours didn't hear it though as they are.

Millwall had a black member in their top firm in the ''80s so I think anyone carrying on any of that in a vicious manner away from home would've done it once only. Tiny was his nickname.

At home in the cold blow lane end they did sing that 'Daylight come and I wanna go home' to black away players. Steve Anthrobus got no sh1t so it was really a way of getting to the opposition. I had a mixed race friend who never had any problems. Was a big fella mind you and most gobby football supporters abuse below their weight.

Local people had issues with their area having an influx of ethnic minorities mind you. The BNP in south east London was never small.

Yawn.
It's alright for gay people to bang on and on and on about being gay, and spouting innuendos and bile constantly (Clairy, Norton, Walliams, Spence, Knockaert, Dunk etc.) but as soon as something comes back that they don't like, they get all precious.

Man up FFS (No not that way).

As others have said, this isn’t actual homophobia. The fact that Brighton find being called ‘gay’ insulting, makes them the homophobic ones.

But to be honest, I could live without chants about them ‘taking it up the bum’. I think, in the same way we’re called ‘Nigels’, we should refer to them as the ‘Liberace’s’ (or whatever the gayest name) is. More subtle.

The only Palace and Proud I was ever interested in was a Little pub in Holmesdale road .
I was in there straight from work at about 4.30 one Tuesday evening before we played Brighton when a load of their fans attacked it in attempt to smash it up . There was only half a dozen punters in at that time , just as well the landlord was built like a brick outhouse .

There wasn't a window left at the front but the door was held , the bar protected . f***ing poofs couldn't get the better of 3 blokes at the door .

Can we still call the Liverpool fans 'bindippers' on Monday, or will we be giving too much offense to those in abject poverty or on welfare benefits?

....or can we carry on being puerile and offensive for a bit longer as they are Scousers?

No one is actually offended by the chants. It's two people trying to make a name for themselves by promoting a "cause" which is unnecessary. I've got gay friends, I would happily tell them they're a bender to their face and they'd call me a c*** back. It's a joke FFS.

"But I find it offensive". So f***ing what??

No of course not. All gay people love being called a bender.

Brighton fans love it when the opposition are homophobic, or (more often) very slightly homophobic. It gives them something to moan and feel superior about, for that reason I wouldn't join in with the slightly homophobic chanting.

They are happy enough to sing songs about sheep shagging to the Welsh or sister shagging to Norwich and Ipswich fans. Of course, this is only banter. They refer to Palace fans as chavs as they despise working class people, again banter.

They like to give it out but can't take it. Oh er misses.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Is now a good time to admit that I'd love someone to sing a song to me about my sexuality?

"You love fanny, you also like tits, you take girls up the fanny and look at their tits"

For example.
