funny to hear pards pontificating on what differences he would do with managing the current Spurs squad...improve the midfield. and in other news, i will be advising Ron Jeremy on how to get it up , keep it up, and shoot his load to a stopwatch, with a camera crew watching....20 times a day.

Wanted Pards gone and Sam in, but no hard feelings from me. Stayed up twice and a cup final, so not a complete disaster and sacked by SP giving Sam more than enough time to turn things round IMO.

Pardew is not going to go on TV and say he was s*** is he. He will be wanting another job soon. In my view the truth is that Steve Parish wanted to build a flair team capable of finishing in the top 8 but he wanted to do it on shirt buttons.

That revival lasted a whole year, following that we got to a cup final. That's two comfortable Premier League survivals and an FA Cup final in two seasons. "Totally clueless" is clearly a misrepresentation of the truth, he royally messed up this season (and I wanted him gone) but he clearly has it in him to be a decent PL manager and win games at this level. Sam has come in and done fantastically well, but AP did the same and we shouldn't forget that. He guided us to back-to-back survivals, which no-one else has done. Who knows how we'll feel about Sam in 2 years' time? I'm glad he's gone but the abuse he now gets is sad.
The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |

Did you deliberately miss out Benteke and Townsend People with hate agenda's focus on what they want. Pardew ran out of steam and had extremely bad luck with injuries. What he mentions re signings is true, however you cannot argue he was in many instances tactically inept. Pardew could have been the man to take us to the top 8, big Sam is the man to keep us up. It will be interesting to see peoples opinion on Big Sam if we finish on 40 points every season. I wish this old bollocks wouldn't keep cropping up, nobody gains anything from it.

Let's not forget how shockingly bad we were in the second half of last season.

Really sick of some Palace 'fans'. either at your feet or at your throat.

He got a bunch of matches right until about the Christmas before last using players he'd inherited and tapped up from Newcastle and whatever. But after that the waning fitness, mental strength and squad development set in and he had to try to keep us going with hot air and bulls***. And after about this time a manager really has to direct the development of the team and that's when it really became clear that he was as much use as a chocolate teapot. Sam on the other hand has been totally in charge and on top of things from day one. Had to be, because there was f*** all for him to use from the ancien regime.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |
