The way the team is playing 8/9th is a reasonable target. From the remaining fixtures the only ones I am less than confident about would be Spurs at home and City away but with Sakho at the back you always have a chance. We can be top 10 by Saturday evening if the results go our way like they did last weekend. Of course, that means Hull, Swansea and Sunderland all winning. I fancy a top 10 finish, but what I'd really like (other than safety from relegation) is a top of Pulis finish. 10 points behind, but WBA are treading water.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

I think top ten finish is a real possibility now.

A few wins and our expectations go through the roof. Next thing you know we'll finish 12th and people will call for Sams head to roll.. Fans are crazy! If we finish with a couple teams between us and the drop zone the team would have done fantastic compared to where we were a month ago. Anything above that is sublime! For the record I'd love us to finish 8th but to have it as a reasonable target is absurd... I should probably eat my hat. The more games we win the more a top ten finish IS realistic! Amazed to say it, but one more win than Watford and Stoke during the run in and assuming other teams don't improve then top ten it is! Whatever Sam's being paid they should double it!

If Chelsea win tomorrow and we beat Spurs, we'll be 9th, albeit with Southampton having 2 games in hand (against Arsenal and Man Utd).

I think top 10 would be extremely ambitious considering the games we have yet to come. Every place that we can get though will be amazing accomplishment! Sadly, the media don't tend to take too much notice of Palace and won't really measure the improvement and change in the team unless we do continue to climb up the table.

The two teams above us are Stoke and Watford one and two points ahead of us respectively, with worse goal difference, Stoke having one game less than us to play and both of them clearly recumbent on the beach and playing like absolute toilet. Overhauling the sorry pair of them would be no injustice.
