I know Sam said that Kaikai would get his chance once we are assured to stay up, but given the injuries i think he could well be our most impactful sub on the bench at the moment. Why not give him 30 mins if we're down, what's the worst that can happen he makes a complete mess of it and directly gifts them a goal? not like sako or lee would be much more reliable in that regard.

If we can beat Chelsea away then we can beat Arsenal at home. Not saying we will but how exactly is it impossible? To me, getting past Kante, Azpiliqueta, Luiz and Cahill twice at Stamford Bridge is impossible. If you manage that impossibility, then I also think it's 'impossible' to only concede 1 to the likes of Costa/Pedro/Fabregas/Hazard. We managed both of those. If we try our hardest tonight then we could win. Arsenal are frail in mentality at the moment and if we strike first then I'm not sure Arsenal's response will be as measured and as ruthless as Chelsea's were. Of course I expect a loss but play a weakened team and wave the white flag before kick-off? Behave.

Same here. I had the same feeling before the Chelsea game too. Mind you, I am pretty sure I have had the same feeling before many big games against top 6 teams... I know. I never bother trying for away tix but for the Chelsea game I did my damnedest to get two for my lad and me (failed) as felt something odd might happen. The feeling is not as strong for tonight's game - it is Arsenal after all - but if the players can block the psychological barrier i fully expect a draw or a very, very cheeky win. Also, i hate Arse so could be just talking myself into blind optimism.

Why does everyone put Ledley as a starter? Have you heard something about Allardyce preferring him?
