We should do everything in our powers to keep Wilf. To be honest his salary must be very low when compared to Benteke and Cabaye. It's not as if we need to the money - we can compete on salary with the big boys especially as (hopefully) we will be entering a record 5th season in the premier league. If we have to sell then we should only be looking at top class champions league performers - Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern (and for stacks of cash). This is the level I think Wilf can/should attain to. Not s***ty Tottenham.

Well if he's desparate to be in Europe he doesn't want to go to Spurs, does he? The football equivalent of voting for Brexit.

It has taken some time but his replacement (Townsend) is now very much cutting the mustard.

I'd agree, also I feel the team is more balanced with Townsend than Bolasie.

Not to wish the fella harm, but seeing he's out injured and Townsend back in form. Really does look like good buisness.

Saved by Sammy for sorting his head out.

Im still distraught that Zaha missed out for England. Our selection process is soooo staid.
The boy is already a legend and will only get better. England has missed out BIG......no HUGE.

Honestly, we can sell Cabaye and buy Sakho and still be in a good spot financially. We have spent quite a bit in the past two windows and will be able to do it again. Keep Zaha at all costs!!!

Speroni would've saved it!

Or maybe he just wanted to play for the country of his birth? On an international level a passion to play for England would be the equivalent of being passionate about playing for Stoke. Always been around, but the glory days are a distant memory.
