feeling positive , who wouldnt after 4 wins on the trot. however, we must have sorted ourselves out before the hull game. Cos hull still have teeth and the only game after that is at Old Trafford.

There isn't a team in the Prem that i'd rather see drop than Wet Spam. Horrible fans, Horrible club. Would love to see them sack the manager (cos he's better than them) and watch them plummet out of it. Sh1te team, sh1te fans, sh1te club and sh1te ground. Struggling to argue with that, it would be brilliant to see them down but I think they have enough in the bank to creep over the line

If they lose their next two - Arsenal away and Swansea at home - they could easily be merely a pube above the cut line. Edited by Ray in Houston (03 Apr 2017 6.57pm)
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Doesn't fact that Hull and Swansea are making a fight of it mean that we may need more than 37/8 points to be safe? I am not normally one for looking at things pessimistically. I had predicted to the guys at work that we'd likely get something out of the Chelsea game and possibly even steal a win. In the end I was wrong - we didn't rob them, we won fair and square. And the way we're playing now, and the fact we have positive momentum is really important. But I'm still wary that what may seem statistically unlikely can still come and bite you in the arse. I'm still scarred by that freak relegation.

I really believe we will do what it takes to stay up. Sam has got the team looking up rather than down and it has worked as the team are no longer playing in fear. We have started to get a bit of luck lately that deserted us earlier in the season, and the starting 11 has been nice and settled. Such a shame the injuries blotted the win slightly on Saturday, but I believe whoever comes in will do just fine. I think bottom 3 will be Sunderland(just shocking at the back and Defoe has dried up), Boro (not enough goals) and Burnley (in free fall at the wrong time and a light squad to call on)
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

40 points should always be the aim as that is the bench mark Clubs use. Anything less will depend on how the rest of the comp is travelling at the time. So for me 3 more wins and even then I would be looking at the mathematical possibility of relegation before feeling safe. Almost there!
