I wouldn't play Campbell even if it was a game of cards. One of the great premiership mysteries is how Fraizer Campbell has remained a premiership player since 2006 (counting loan spells). A championship striker who somehow has spent 11 years on the books of premiership football teams.

His agent must have the biggest collection of incriminating photos outside of the Kremlin.

I don't know if I'd rather him.. From the past you can see that Benteke is a good player. I must say about Deeney though.. he really puts himself about. He is an absolute nuisance lol.

Is it just lack of confidence or is he just not the player we hoped he would be?[/quote]

He is not even the player I hope Calvin Andrew would be!

Fooking hate Deeney so Benteke everyday. Benteke or Andy Carroll is a different argument

Are people seriously picking Deeney over Benteke? The bloke scored an own goal the other day. Yes, he gets about, but he's the main man at Watford and has been for years - that's the very least I'd expect of the captain of my club.

Just incredible.

Frazier Campbell.

Instead of Benteke.

Amazing.

Yes his running around aimlessly and losing control of the ball when we try to counter is always a great watch

Benteke every time! Not having his best time at the moment but as he doesn't get a great deal of support a lot of the time from his team mates but still warrants a lot of attention from the opposition.

Agree should have hit that shot first time on Saturday a goal will do him no end of good.

Quality service and more support still lacking though!

I bet he will smash one in against Chelsea leaving Cahill in a heap!!

The "Benteke is lazy" line is unbelievably lazy.

Very happy to have got CB would have been underwhelmed to have got Deeney nothing has changed that view.

Deeney is utter pony. Watford have played to his strengths for many a season, which is why he scores.

We on the other hand have a potentially world class forward who we never seem to have another shirt within 20 yards of, and wonder why he struggles!?

Sure he could chase for every ball harder ala Glen Murray or Cameron Jerome, but that just isn't him (and wouldnt necessarily solve his lack of goals)

Deeney is a tryer and a dam right nuisance of a forward, but has little technical ability. FWIW I think Connor Wickham is also a considerably better forward than him too.

Benteke. Not even close.

On his day, Benteke is one of the premiership's top 10 strikers in my opinion. Unfortunately, it's just not his day right now. May the confidence return swiftly!
