These stories are just made up. Coming to a new club is a challenge but moving country as well is another challenge then in Steve case he has been injured so his confidence would not be great at all next you got a team which is fighting for survival all this would mentally be taking it's toll. The guy must be good otherwise how does he keep being selected for France, we need to give him time to adapt even the best keepers need time to get used to English game. Sam needs people to perform now and is sticking with people he knows who have experience in this league this is why he is staying with Wayne otherwise I think he would be giving Steve a shot plus we do not really know what level his fitness is at so I expect this time away with all the squard will give him time to check everyone out.

Bit harsh on Wickham, who was very good when fit, and Lee, who was really signed as a squad back up. Sanogo was definitely s**t though fortunately a loan signing, Adebayor was just odd (but short term) and McCarthy was just plain pointless. What concerns me with some of the Pardew signings, is that it seems like he never saw them play. Mutch was good enough when he was at Cardiff, but its pretty clear that his time at QPR really reduced his ability and skill level. Adebayor was unfit, Sanogo wasn't Premiership material and McCarthy was worse than our back up keeper. Problem is, he hardly ever was fit....2 Edited by the silurian (15 Mar 2017 3.48pm)

[Link] Mandanda has today (Wednesday) posted a message on his Facebook page, denying that talks have taken place and insisting that he is focused on Palace.

The back five have obviously put in a lot of work on the training ground recently tightening things up and playing as a unit so unless people get injured I can't see too many changes!

Why does he need to repeat his line about going back to Marseille? Geezer is coming across incredibly self interested. I saw a few Twitter comments from Frenchies saying he'd said to last season that he wanted to play in England. If those are true then you start to think it is really all just about money, what with Marseille's new owners seemingly very willing to part with the stuff.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Well, Pardew's signings were s*** weren't they? I was at Burnley and SM was utter cack that day. He has been yet another crap Pardew signing,so it is entirely fair to dig Pardew out for his woeful signings. He has filleted the side and left BFS with a hell of a job. The guy is renowned as a world class keeper and to carry on with this constant negativity is pointless. It's not like Hennessy who's been consistently woeful for a couple of seasons now, yet some will worship him regardless. Hoping he comes in and proves a lot of people wrong. Could be a huge player for us.

I feel nervous everytime a cross comes in with Hennessey in goal. I didn't when Mandanda played.

If we stay up, a new premier class keeper needs to be our first priority. Keep Wayne as back up, get rid of Steve pension off Jules.
