Despite lacking genitalia, there was something masculine about a doll with a buzz cut that had longer arms than legs. Ken just looked like he'd crumble in a warfare situation.

Before anyone picks me up on suggesting men ought to be masculine, it wasn't my idea, it was nature's. I'm all for men being masculine, feminine, ambivalent, neutral or whatever else there is. Just ask my boyfriends.

Why? Why not. Doesn't appeal to me, but I kind of like the idea of people being able to change their appearance to reflect who they want to be, or see themselves as. I like the idea, that we could all, at some point in the future, control our physical appearance rather than reliance on the vagaries of nature and genetics. Who really wants to be stuck with just being 'average'.

What the idea that people can express and be whatever they want if they're not hurting anyone? Hardly progressive, I think that's just being ethically sound. I love the idea that accepting that other people can be different, and being ok with that, is somehow a bad thing. Can't really comment in case I get banned - don't feel safe that I can 'express' myself. Edited by hedgehog50 (03 Mar 2017 12.40pm)

I was behind a tractor this morning that turned into a field. Does that count?
