Team of the Eighties. This is the only choice... though our similar black away kit of recent years wasn't half bad.

Stealing their women and eating their food since 1987.

Fact is, I've bought every shirt - home and away, since 1999. The year I started taking my boy to The Palace.
And he's kept them all and they're all in his wardrobe.
He's like a football nerd. I'd rather he kept comics...Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Steven K Amos..well not him but you get the jist I'm sure.
And they're all ironed and hung on hangars and in numerical and named order.
Our son is a nerd. And it's all my fault.
Not his mum. She doesn't care.
It's all down to me.
It's my fault.

I appreciate that they're in his wardrobe but are they all his or are some yours?

To answer the question: red and blue sash over white. The Admiral one. I like the memories of the 1990 FA Cup one (1st game). Unfortunately I have no Palace paraphernalia to wear on Saturday. Had a black hat that the kids got me but it was so tight it gave me headaches. Mind you... it was lucky. Wonder where it is.

Me and my son still think the TDK kit was the best.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

No. They're all his which we bought. None are mine.
In fact, I can't recall the last time I bought myself a Palace shirt...probably for the 89 play off final v Blackburn. I was at the first leg midweek at Ewood Park and I know I didn't wear one for that so it may have been for the 2nd leg at Selhurst.
I know for a fact I had the FA Cup one for Wembley though..how could any Palace fan not for that historic day?

I'm of the opinion that grown men shouldn't wear replica shirts, except in exceptional circumstances like a massive play off final or our first ever FA Cup final.I've nothing against those people. Its just not for me.

I like the old classic claret with thin blue stripes.Prefer that to red and blue, certainly not a fan of this season's shirt.

Me neither so I dont have it yet!! But I will buy it when it gets to £15-£20 as whats happening normally in March April!!

I have a great replica of this.
One of my favourites too.
Obviously the white, home version also.
Either of these.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

Thinking about this from a financial point of view.....in 20 years times your son could have a unique collection and perhaps worth quite a few ££££.

Definetly worth continuing the trend of buying shirts every year.

I always thought in 10 years times everything would be digital....players all wear white shirts and then a computer generated team shirt is used for every game. Yep...it is Sunday

On the flip side, if me and his mum...but mainly me, hadn't spent all that money on Palace shirts, not only home but away too...the home shirt for the start of the season and then the away as one of his Christmas presents, and that's not including stuff like Palace teddy bears and calenders and sportswear and suchlike then we'd be a f*** load better off than we are now!

I mustn't complain though because I've had many happy years of seeing his happy face when he got anything Palace related.
On the flip side, I've had many unhappy years of him moaning about how s*** we are on the way home from the game.

C'est la vie!
