Fact is, I've bought every shirt - home and away, since 1999. The year I started taking my boy to The Palace. I appreciate that they're in his wardrobe but are they all his or are some yours? To answer the question: red and blue sash over white. The Admiral one. I like the memories of the 1990 FA Cup one (1st game). Unfortunately I have no Palace paraphernalia to wear on Saturday. Had a black hat that the kids got me but it was so tight it gave me headaches. Mind you... it was lucky. Wonder where it is.

Me and my son still think the TDK kit was the best. Attachment: TDK kit.jpg (667.96Kb)
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I'm of the opinion that grown men shouldn't wear replica shirts, except in exceptional circumstances like a massive play off final or our first ever FA Cup final.I've nothing against those people. Its just not for me.

I like the old classic claret with thin blue stripes.Prefer that to red and blue, certainly not a fan of this season's shirt. Me neither so I dont have it yet!! But I will buy it when it gets to £15-£20 as whats happening normally in March April!!

Thinking about this from a financial point of view.....in 20 years times your son could have a unique collection and perhaps worth quite a few ££££. Definetly worth continuing the trend of buying shirts every year. I always thought in 10 years times everything would be digital....players all wear white shirts and then a computer generated team shirt is used for every game. Yep...it is Sunday

I mustn't complain though because I've had many happy years of seeing his happy face when he got anything Palace related. C'est la vie!
