If we go down Spurs will get him for 15 mill plus. Not sure anyone will want many of our current crop to be honest.
Promoted clubs want fighter's and I'm sorry to say we haven't got them anymore.
Eddie H if Bournemouth was saying Palace were an example for teams like them and noe look?
Love Wilf but let's fave it he needs to better himself and play at a better team to fulfill his potential and dreams.

I would have no issue with him going if we go down. He's our best premier league player and he'll want to go and it wouldn't be fair not to let him.

If we stay up then we'll definitely need him, otherwise next season could be even more 'challenging'...

In my humble estimation there is no way he will remain at our club if (God forbid) we are relegated. He and others will depart for 'Pastures new'. Even if we stay up, I feel that the 'Revolving door' will be very much in operation.

Looks good for us as we don't have a great squad.

Done f*** all at AFCON and is not consistent enough for us.

Don't need excuses like he's always got 3/4 players on him either, if he wasn't a Palace player then he wouldn't get bigged up as much as he does now.

Good for us and would be good for a mid/bottom half team but not Spurs. Not sure why they want him.

Massively (yet respectfully) disagree

Agree with the above.

I bet you two were some of the people excited to see Townsend because of his improved end product haha.

We've been spoilt having a player like Wilf, I'm sure you guys will enjoy a workman like winger 'putting a shift in'. Name one winger in the league that is consistent all the time - there is none! Even Hazard had a bad year last year.

That is the thing with being a winger, not everything you try will come off. Incredible some of our fans don't see that. He's provided more entertainment in the last 5 years than any player I've ever watched, but you want him to be able to score/ assist every game. Okay

Did you say the same about Benteke when Aston Villa went down?

Wilf will likely leave whether we stay up or not.
If BFS stays in charge Wilf isn't really his kind of player sadly.
Also I expect Wilf will want to spread his wings again.

Pay him his worth and make sure he stays an Eagle. Relegation or not - have a funny feeling we're gonna stop the rot in next home game.

We struggle far less when he's with us. Silly comment.

By playing for Ivory Coast Wilf has turned his back on top level..so based on that he should chase the money and go to china. He would be a super star there and command £10-15M a year tax free. Probably do the same in sponsorship. And he would escape the drab way of life here.

If he wants to go we can't really stand in his way, personally don't think Spurs is the right destination. Where will he fit in? They already have Son and he has an end product Will simply doesn't have. At Spurs he's going to spend a lot of time on the bench.
