The fans do have a right to their opinion. After the Delaney incident last week - not the fan the one where he shielded an over hit pass for 15 yds before needlessly putting into touch I never wanted to see him in a Palace shirt again. He didn't like the comments he got about a very strange situation. Next week he's captain - wtf!
I've renewed for next season and quite honestly don't expect to come straight back. With those can't be arsed now inc Ward Delaney Thomkins and Dann those who are pure s***e likeHennessey and Ledley and those who can play Prem football and will move we will require a total rebuild. I expect two years in the darkness but some wins some fight from the players and please god a proper goalie.

I agree with your point about a new keeper, but in my opinion Ward and Delaney put in more effort than most they just lack the ability to play week in week out at premier league standard. The amount of abuse Damo gets is horrendous at least he's trying.

That's how it sounded to me when we played Sunderland. I've been at all the low-ebb games in recent years, losing 4-0 at home to scunthorpe was echoing loudly in my mind. But in that match stayed and sang, doing the "Dancin' Homer" in the vacant row 11 until the bitter end, tongue in cheek "We're gonna win 5-4"s etc... but it seems that Selhurst has lost its sense of humour and I've never heard the Palace crowd turning on each other like they did 2 weeks ago.

How is this anything but detrimental to our survival chances...and now running on the pitch and HF going to the corner to hurl abuse...does that EVER help..?!? And now having a slag-off session with a new signing as he's walking off an Away ground, yeah, real classy! Is this what you call unconditional support?

Regardless of the results, the reaction of the crowd is enough to make me reconsider renewing my ST.

Well, as we were walking out I heard a bit of a commotion above and it was one guy - at least 50, telling another guy - who looked about 60 how he could "f*** off" and that "he hoped he died of a heart attach" while this other block was calling him a "mug c***"...
Charming... OAP fisticuffs bwtenn our own fans"! My 15 year old thought it was funny, but really just sad..

FFS that's pathetic, it should be addressed by the stewards. I wouldn't treat the opposition fans like that, never mind our own.

I saw the same sort of thing at the Leicester away game so it is not a recent phenomenon.

That was an actual punch up between fans over leaving the ground early, One divvy took it upon himself to have a pop at everyone who was leaving after being 3-0 down. He got a slap in the end.

Whilst i understand people getting frustrated we cannot take it out on our own, We enjoy victories together so have to take the defeats together. If you cannot contain your anger have a little jog round to the away end and i am sure someone will help you out with letting steam off.

Yes that was the incident I was referring to. Your suggestion seems eminently reasonable to me.
