Who knows ? I have asked many times , no one seems to know , but I been told he is not an attacking midfielder and he is not a defensive midfielder.
If it's correct what you said that we do not win without Puncheon , then it is odd people want Cabaye in when over the last year we won more without him than with him,, and people believe Puncheon plays better without Cabaye in the team.
It will be interesting to see what Sam does with the team if we ever get a permit for Luka.

i hope he hits the ground running, but like most foreigners he will need time to adapt to the english game.

it does make me laugh tho, people pinning their hopes & dreams of staying up on a player who theyve probably never seen play or even heard off before we were linked with him.

He's one of the last remaining straws to grasp at and it's not inconceivable that he's the type of player that could build up legendary status at Palace over time.

But realistically at this stage, he might well be laying the foundations for that in the Championship.

Signed from Olympiakos who play in what is virtually a one team league. They have won the league 18 out of the last 20 seasons !
But he also played for Red Star Belgrade and Anderlecht so he has played for decent sides.

Drove past their ground on a bus a few times last year when we were on a cruise and going between the port and the town of Athens and vice versa. They play in Piraeus which is the port of Athens.

Always a good idea to slip on a Panathinaikos shirt as you're passing by that way I've heard.

You're living in the past if you think Red Star Belgrade are a decent side these days. The Serbian league is proper pony. Olympiakos regularly cause bigger teams problems in Europe.

I think far more relevant to Luka's experience is the Champions League football he's played, including against Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Atletico Madrid.

My wife always accuses me of "Living in the past" so I'm used to such accusations !
And she wasn't referring to the 'Jethro Tull' song !

Regarding 'Red Star Belgrade' I think they have had some financial issues and accordingly were prevented in playing in the 'Champions League' a couple of seasons ago. Still wouldn't fancy our chances against them either 'Home' or 'Away'.

I am not going to build myself up too much on our new Serbian player and I would say remember Campana from Sevilla was going to be our next big thing but he did not even get close. But fingers crossed anyway.

I'm sure you're a "Nice chap".

Just my style of articulation I'm afraid and as I have said before I am "cerebrally challenged" ! Will heed your advice !
