Take the on one of those one day problem solving exercises.

Actually perhaps not. They'll still be there in May trying to work out how to get the water across and miss all our matches.

My fear is I hope the yanks who brought into the club just over a year ago is they don't want they money back and stop investing in the club because when we get relegated we are going to need as much money as possible and hopefully try to get back up as soon as possible because the longer we stay in the championship the worst it will get personally dont think we could afford to stay in the championship for longer than 2 years maximum

They're not 'investing' on an ongoing basis. It was £50mil for the ground.

They havent needed to keep investing anyway with the money saved from previous seasons and not able to spend all the money on wages with FFP.

If our wages are £80mil and the parachute money is £40mil or whatever, it tells you what will happen. Zaha and a few others will be sold, plus the out of contract players will leave. The conundrum comes with do you get too many out or risk keeping them past the parachute money.

Think about it more later.

Reminds me of when Brendan 'Brent' Rodgers tried to get the Liverpool players to do yoga and meditation... [Link]

I expect us to lose a few players put they owe 18% of the club so they invested in us as a premier league club so they might change they minds if we are relegated they surely weren't expecting us to get relegated along with the other investors the parachute payments are 1oomillion aren't they as I've said will be interesting summer

I think instead of sending the players to Dubai they should send us poor f*ckers who had to sit through the horror show on Saturday (with business class and sea-view rooms allocated to those like myself who were near the Sunderland fans).

All the players instead of going to Dubai should refund every single palace fan a refund if all 14 swuad players doit it would maybe only be a couple of grand each maybe a bit more but when your earning 60ka week its not a lot to ask

Both Harris and Blitzer have an 18% share - so does Parish.

Parachute payments are not £100mil per year and a contract is a contract. They bought in and are in, unless all parties decide otherwise.

2 players sold would probably make up the difference of parachute money and wages but you have to replace say a winger and striker possibly. You then have the possibility we're still there when parachute money runs out. We're not Newcastle but we're not Villa either. We quite a few play worth quite a lot, but championship football is hard, as anyone who's supported us for longer than 4 years knows.

Let Parish plan for this in a few games if it's looking bad.

Hennessey would be found quivering under a bush somewhere and come out once the game's over signal goes off.

At least if they did paintballing anywhere near a barn, the door would be safe.
