I wholeheartedly agree.

Hennessey is the 'Human Dartboard' on here whereas others who have been hugely disappointing have barely got a mention.
Yes of course he has made mistakes but the same can be said about the rest.

Sorry but plenty have unfortunately come in for criticism at some point. Only Remy, MacArthur and Zaha haven't, although Zaha has for going to play in that joke of a tournament that shouldn't be bi-annual anyway.

Sorry Willo other players have been mentioned and many in great detail with lots of hard comments so Wayne is not alone. The reason Wayne gets stick is because he is the last man standing in the team and should be stopping goals but he does not as he stands there like a wet blanket looking like a scared rabbit in a cars headlights. He has no idea how to dive or move quickly and takes a step to one side on free kicks corners or shots instead of standing his ground. he cannot organise his defenders hence why they are cr@p also. A goalkeeper should be shouting to his players and making them aware of his presence and what he is going to do and what they should be doing. At least Jules can be in a commanding position and be a organising his defenders. He also a brilliant Shot stopper and has proved it time and time again. Maybe he is a bit match unfit but who is to blame for that?
If AP had played him more and not been so pompous towards him maybe just maybe AP would still be our manager and we would be higher up the table not down in the bottom. The fans, the press and many other people and other clubs supporters have been saying for months and months now that Hennessy should be on the bench and Jules should be in goal. I am surprised that SP did not have a word in AP's ear when he renewed Jules contract to put him in goal for a while.
Willo you stick with Wayne and of course cpj in your opinion and I will stick with the thousands YES thousands who think at this very moment Jules should be put back in goal and try and pull us out of this dreadful mess we are in.
Maybe even have a word with Cluntenburg if he ever gets to be our ref again to be a bit more honest towards us seeing as you know him so well.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Sorry, but I find this really offensive. If you bothered to read my comment on the other thread from earlier today you would have seen me say that we need to get a new keeper in the summer as none of the current 3 are really good enough. I just object to this vilification of one of our players when there are other who are equally or more culpable than him for where we find ourselves.

By the way, not only is WH not the worst keeper in the PL, he is not even the worst keeper at the club, as his saves and goals-conceded ratios are still better then those of Mandanda.

Well stop coming on here to defend him or try and censor the fact he is s*** by having a pop at people who start threads on him. The more threads about it the better. This has to be escalated somehow before he drags us down to the Champiinship. He's utter gash. I've argued with you from day one about this and I have been right all along.

Do you really believe that Allardyce will be influenced by the Anti-Hennessey vitriol on here ?

He will make his own mind up weighing up all the factors as to whether to remove Hennessey from the 'Firing line', he won't take advice from HOL !

God help us if the manager ever reads, let alone takes notice of, these boards.
To single out Hennessey is unfair. He makes errors but so do most keepers and he hasn't got much of a shield in front of him. At least 5 other first teamers deserve the sack.
Too many on here are abusive not only of the players but also of any posters who have a contrary opinion to their own.
I am beginning to yearn for more fair minded people
who express their opinion sensibly to come on these boards - but we seem to get the opposite.

Forget worst keeper. I'd go as far as worst PLAYER. I mean, is there anyone else in the premier league that's cost their team so many points?

I'd say he's fighting with Martin Kelly for worst player.... So, we are paying the wages of the TWO worst player in the league....!

Kelly is not nearly as bad as many on here seem to think. Tomkins and Ledley have been worse this season IMO.

We put in an abject, dire and pathetic performance on Saturday and the only player who is attracting vitriol is Hennessey ! Aren't any others in focus after that game ? This is the point I am making, I am not thinking about historical adverse comments about certain players who of course have attracted negatives on HOL.

How should we measure 'worst'?

According to the numbers he's not bottom of any of the stats the the EPL keep i.e. goals conceded, saves made, clean sheets etc. The one that surprised me was "High Claims" where he is equal 6th in the league with Cech!

Oddly enough, he's also equal 26th (out of 34) with Cech on "goals conceded" but I reckon he's played a lot less games than him (and most of the others below him).

I agree, he's not looked like a premier league 'keeper from day one but different managers & coaching staff seem to think he's better than our other options at the moment. Maybe we should chuck Perntreou in at the deep end & see if he does a 'Pickford'?

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!
