I was close to binning my season ticket 4 years ago because I work Friday night and I do 100 mile round trip, but the buggers went and got promoted so I stuck with it I expect I'll end up re-newing again!! at least we might win a few more home games in the championship!! If we go down you wont need a season ticket you will be able to turn up on the day and sit where you want. Between 8-10,000 fans will vanish.

Of course I'm going to renew, I've renewed for the last 27 years and I'm not going to stop now just because things are getting back to normal. Never bought into this idea that we'd become an "established Premiership side".

Its posts like this that flushes out the real supporters of the club. A few will have financial/other issues but I suspect most will disappear if its the championship next season. What the club needs now is support not us playing 12th man for the opposition. COYP

Just renewed , I confess I was thinking of leaving it but I renewed whilst in the championship so if we go back I wont stop going so why not renew, I might have to miss some of the midweek games tho, if the worst happens

I will have to renew. Anything is better than being dragged around Bluewater on a Saturday afternoon.

Some of them are so bad you wished you had. Freak midweek results and lethargic performances with 2 games a lot of weeks. We never had all STs turning up for all midweek games.

If people aren't renewing because of who the manager is,or they don't like the style of foot ball,or we might not be in the Premier League, then they are not genuine Palace fans anyway and we are better off without them. if we're in the championship, I'm pretty sure we won't have Big Sam as a manager. I preferred the championship, its more competitive, and less games on at annoying times. Less crowded too, and easier to get away tickets. Of course its all about getting into the premiership, but I can live with being relegated. God knows my Grandad and uncles have seen us up and down more often than the proverbial underwear...

We never had all STs turning up for all midweek games. I used to have a ST when we were in the championship, and rarely made Tuesday games. It was the appeal of almost all 3pm kick offs on a Saturday. You'd never have gotten four or five games on TV in a row either. Although we weren't that good a championship side either. I don't think that Saturdays performance was much worse, if at all, than the 4-0 against scunthorpe...

if we haven't picked up by the march deadline, I probably won't renew by 2 season tickets. I'd miss too many midweek fixtures, What is it about 8 games plus the others that get switched for TV anyway.
