Sam summoned all the players to a special 7am training/bollocking session on Sunday morning which presumably means he was going to work at that time to try to sort things out.

The players have come in every sunday under bfs,think the only reason it was 7am was because he wanted to allow time to watch a rerun off the game with the players

I don't believe any of them are playing poorly deliberately at all. It's the almost 14 months of PL failure, which has been worse at home than away, that is paralysing the decision making processes. They've seen one error lead to disaster so many times now that it's become self-fulfilling. All the confidence has been drained, and they now play with fear, where if there's one mistake any plan goes out of the window and panic sets in. It's a very difficult mindset to change and I doubt Sam has ever faced a situation quite like it. If he can get all the new players into the team, and they can hit the ground running, that may have an influence on the rest of them; well at least let's hope so!
