This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Sanogo was slightly less bad than Bumfluff but still absolutely s***e. Campbell is miles better than any of the above.

I recall last season can't remember the game but he came on with about 10 minutes to go. We were defennding a corner in front of the Whitehorse and he had to be told pretty forceably to get on the post. He then ambled over to it and started f*cking about with his hair. Did not look at all interested.

The Daily Mail are just trying to whip up a stink over nothing by using emotive words in their article. Bamford allegedly demanded this that and the other but the article wouldn't have quite the same effect if it was rewritten to say that "Bamford also negotiated that the club pay his TV subscription" Everything about the remuneration of Premiership footballers is obscene if put into the context of the football supporters incomes who fund their lifestyles You can't argue with their description of him as 'the goal-shy Patrick Bamford', surely.

Good job we weren't covering his piano, trumpet and theremin classes, or his Chinese and Latin lessons, let alone his numerous coiffure bills.

Which makes the whole wage and perk demands all the more obscene.
Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link] |

But to be fair that was still too much.

Had a very good season on loan at Boro' to assist their challenge for the Premiership but has done nothing since. Never looked like doing anything for us and left of his own accord after 3 months. We then brought in Adebayor who was equally ineffective. It just demonstrates that inflated salaries, reputations and previous success with other clubs doesn't guarantee that players will perform with us. Edited by Henry of Peckham (04 Feb 2017 9.07am)

Adebayor was considerably less ineffective than Bumfluff. Not Adebayor of old by any means but he did actually play football a bit. I think he even scored once. Bufluff might as well have turned up with a dressing gown, a newspaper and a cup of coffee. Just been the subject of an amusing pisstake on Talk Sh!te, who reminded me that he hasn't scored a single goal in two years. For a centre-forward that's pretty impressive. Campbell's scored more than that with his arse alone.

I agree, Adebayor did play a bit and Bumfluff consistently looked looked out of his depth. He was the only forward not to score in our League Cup game against Shrewsbury.
