We Have a great opportunity this weekend to leapfrog the three teams above us, who have all got difficult games this week; Leicester v ManU, Spurs vs boro and ManC vs Swansea.

On paper thats 3 losses. Lets make that 4 losses by beating Sunderland and really put the pressure on our relegation rivals.

If they all lose and we lose also (or even draw) then psychologically nothing has changed in the table (except sunderland could move level on points with us)

Only a win will do for me. and I think we will win. we;ve had (another) excellent window. lets play with no fear, and show people what we can do!

In each season in the prem, we've had half a s*** season; only last time round, that came at the end. Understandably it draws out the multitudinal sighs of bad progress, in spite of us finishing 10th, 11th and 15th and each time hovering around the relegation zone at some point.

Every football fan worries that their club will collapse and implode and vanish but look at what's been going on at blackpool. Relax. We're building something.

We won't go into administration if we get relegated.

We won't lose all of our players.

Our wage bill policy is slowing our progress and also assuring our progress by reducing the number of steps back we have to take in the event of relegation.

I think Sakho could be a great loanee because Klopp has told him point blank if he wants a Liverpool future he has to perform with us and he will, I hope, take that on board. Obviously if he does though we will lose him in the summer.
