I know mate, wasn't saying it as a criticism of you. If anything, it was a poke at how over-sensitive society is becoming. That said, yeah, I agree, we couldn't sing the original suggestion!

I suddenly feel like my parents must've done when I was a kid. What on earth is that?

People that make up songs about footballers...they've always seemed a bit 'fruity' to me.
No offence, like.

Babs and Clean Willie were in love they said....

I was only saying the same the other day while I felched my mate Jason. He could barely hear me though as his pugs were barking along very loudly to his Smalltown Boy CD.

Shortly afetr we started playing Mandanda in goal, I was in a pub watching a match when a gentleman of african origins (he told me this) asked me why palace fans were being racist towards Steve Mandanda, making boos and chants whenever he had the ball.
I had to explain , through the laughter, that we were in fact shouting "steeeeeeeeevvvve" and not booing.

very surreal experience and i'm still not sure he believed me.

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan
