I prefer it when we are called "Crystal F****** Palace". Especially the bin dippers.

I grew up thinking we were called Crystal Palace nil.
With regards Allardyce, at the final whistle he looked like he wouldn't have cared what you called him.

While we’re getting this stuff out there; Calling Charlton ‘Clowns’. Surely the most inoffensive and meaningless nickname in football. It’s total sh*t.

Calling Man City "Citeh" must be pretty inoffensive too. And Wet Spam is somewhere in a similar ball park.

See I am going to stick my neck on the line here but I dislike Charlton and their so called supporters more than I dislike Brighton. Based on the fact I live near and around so many of them and without exception they are all horrible nasty bitter spiteful people. Being called palarse irritates me hugely

Palarse is a reflection of how the world thinks Sarf Lunderners sound.

Coal miners ,Labourers ,seamstresses, people who graft all day for a pittance and even those who earn a few bob 'put in a shift '

If you only wanted to hear grammatically correct English you won't listen to any football commentary as none of them can speak articulately and have to resort to clichés all the time.

By the way - how many games did Pardew lose on the spin?

If that were the case surely it would be 'Pallis.'

Citeh is supposed to be how a Mancunian would pronounce but I'm guessing that Wet Spam is supposed to be humorous which I suppose it is to those in the playground at the infants school

I agree, but not sure why it has to be typed that way every time! Anyway, I am sounding a lot more angry about these things than I really am.

The bigest offender, other than the BFS nickname, is when Hodgson is referred to as Woy.
