He clearly counts himself as am Arsenal fan. Palace are the second team he 'likes to see do well'. Millwall might get a mention once a decade he’s at one of their games for media work.

The thing is, he’s not a fan, he’s a professional involved in the game. He was never on the terraces as a kid, watching any of these teams. He doesn’t live by the same rules as actual fans.

He was on the terraces as a Millwall fan, he said that had been going there since he was nine, nothing to do with media work. He is an 'actual' Millwall fan. It is different to the way he sees Arsenal and Palace, he was supporting Millwall before he was a professional footballer

Well if he was, he was. I would think if he, a black kid, was a regular at the old Den in the 70’s, I would have heard about it by now. I never normally hear him refer to Millwall with any affection. I remember him calling them a ‘racist club’ before an Arsenal cup tie there in the mid 90’s though.

I find it strange someone DIDN'T know he grew up supporting Millwall, Common knowledge I thought!!

Always best to at least get your facts right before having a pop at a club legend!!

I've just read his Autobiography that came out last year. He mentions going to Millwall a few times as a youngster and he also talks about the rascist comments he used to hear.
