Am I the only one who expected there to only be 6k of our fans? It's the 3rd round replay ffs. I went and very much enjoyed myself, but I wouldn't fault anyone for not wanting to go for the numerous reasons stated by others above.

Another "I'm a better fan than you" thread. Stuff happens, family, work, money, location & health. FA Cup 3rd round replay isn't exactly a thrilling match either when the outcome is Man City!. We are all fans, whether you go to every home game, every away game, or buy the shirts and watch every game on tv. WE ARE ALL FANS.

Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha

Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years.

1) Cheer the team to a much needed win.
2) See how the much demanded Sullay Kaikai would do as a starter
3) THE MOST IMPORTANT - SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR AND CELEBRATE WITH OUR RECORD BREAKING JULIAN SPERONI.

What happened? Just over 6,000 of us turned up.

Not good enough. What is going on?

Oh look at me, I went to one of my three games a season, pathetic.

I went and i quite happily took 6 of my work colleagues with me, one of them got a great vid of bentekes 2nd goal, and this morning at work all i got was 'had loads of fun last night, your fans dont stop singing!'
They said for 20 quid, to be that close to the pitch, to be able to see the players up close, to sing all game, to be able to drink and eat etc.....thats a decent price.
They all want to go to the replay now, and at £25 if there are tickets available they would take them! Ive managed to convert people to the red n blue side!

Im palace through & through, and even if there were only 7k in the stadium, fair play to the 7k there and i think the 7k that went got their monies worth (as one of my colleagues put it after the game......£20 to see a 30mill striker ,an england winger, an up & coming youngster, a legend of a keeper & international players is a bargain)......and proper respect to those Bolton boys coming down....good following that

I use to play football on a saturdays and had to pay £10 to play.....£20 to see some proper football is a bargain!

Interesting post in the light of a mere 35,000 attendance tonight in the Newcastle v Birmingham 3rd replay!!

I was there. Was f***kng freezing and s***. Can see why people didn't bother. Especially if they went to west ham in Saturday.

I'm not criticising people who live untravelable distances. I travel from near Portsmouth, home at 1245. Not too far but far enough to feel knackered in the morning, so I know how many felt when the alarm went off. However,we get 25,000 at home league games and not many of us were ever going to make it to Bolton to celebrate Jules' record breaking game, so why were those that could not travel to Bolton absent last night. He acknowledged the cheers of the few that were there, but it would have been great to see a decent number there to cheer him and the team. Disasppointed with Palace fans.

Well done!! Give yourself a pat on the back.

It wasn't cheap was it? I nearly changed my mind and went last. but having only just recovered from flu I decided to save my cash and energy. Sorry to disappoint the OP but hey ho. We won. Suppose some people need to have something to moan about

Was at west ham Saturday and there last night. Went on my own . One thing I did want to say which hasn't been touched on is the HF. I know there's often comments about them but if it hasn't been for them and the drum getting every One going the atmosphere would have been atrocious. I was sat in block d . Both blocks stood throughout. Shame the person next to me felt it necessary to tut at the people singing and clapping of which I was one and then move after half time , sort of spoilt it a Bit

When I was a young girl my Mother said to me.. You listen here kid you're CPFC
