Pardew has decimated this squad and left the players unfit, unconfident and tactically lacking. If he was still here we'd be in the same situation except, rather than addressing the glaring holes in the squad, he'd be trying to spend £25 million on a marquee player. Outrageous for anyone to call for Allardyce's head after such a short amount of time.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

I thought Mullery was the worst manager we could ever have and along comes Sam. I was delighted when England booted him out and will be more pleased when he leaves us. Until he goes, past caring what else happens.

Not at all, BFCS should never have been taken on in the first place. Easy to go back and blame Pardew for everythin, Same posters were saying " Give Sam a Couple of weeks " I have its worse, much worse. Still BIG FAT CASH SAM will sign a few players. He's got a few in mind and he may just get a little cut from each deal to keep him happy !!

We will only see who is the better manager when Pardew's Norwich play Allardyce's Palace next season.

Pardew spent a year destroying our team and it's not going to be fixed in less than a month. Allardyce needs the rest of this window and the whole of February to make a dent on Pardew's mess. If we're not seeing green shoots by then, it's probably reasonable to be very worried. If anyone is to blame, other than Pardew, it's the board for allowing it to go on beyond May; like many on here they were goggle-eyed at a Wembley final which, in the great scheme of things, means jack sh1t unless you actually bring home some silverware and, in the event, just served to tissue paper over some massive cracks. Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

This is a situation of Pardew's making! Sam's had just five weeks to work with these cnuts. He'll turn it round but truth is confidence is shot and that happened under Super Al. You could see this coming when after 14 games into 2016 we STILL hadn't won in the second half of the 2015/16 season! We're bringing in new players now and with some winnable games coming up we'll just have enough, but truth is it should never have come to this with these players! To be honest, I thought we played ok in the first half. However, I've also seen this with Pardew, but as soon as we let a goal in, it seems our heads go down. Then we chase the game, and let a third in. I'm not blaming Sam for this, although, I didn't want to see jimmy Mac taken off, it's just the way things are going, and it looks like it may be terminal. I hope he can change things, but I'm now more worried than ever. I didn't expect an instant turn around to be honest. Edited by Flightsequence (14 Jan 2017 6.26pm)
