A sincere thank you to Keith for his service to the Club. I thought he presented himself and talked well and honestly and, of course, took control several times when thrown in the deep end at short notice. The very best for the future.

I echo these sentiments.

It was always going to happen wasn't it.
Sam has done his homework and used them to help him but now he wants his people around him.
It will actually be good for the players as well in the long run.
Shame though for Keith - a nice man who did wahtever was asked of him.
Football is harsh though sometimes.

Our defence has been sh*te so I'll welcome a new defensive coach & goalkeeping coach. The rot needs to stop.

Football is a simple game played by simple people but overcomplicated by coaches with their folders and iPads. Never a big fan of Millen - not sure what he did when Pulis had Kemp with him - and certainly looked out of his depth as caretaker manager when he set us out to get goalless draws against poor teams like QPR and Villa playing Bolasie as a striker. A new coach will freshen things up. Perhaps Speroni could be given the goalkeeping coach job?

Pardew said they were 'the happiest group he'd ever worked with.'

Doesn't mean they'll produce the results though does it? And when they're drawing closer to the drop zone and relegation looks more likely, how's the 'the dressing room' then?

Actually calling it a dressing room rather than a changing room is quite apt looking at the defending at places like Swansea and Hull. Pansies.

I know that Eddie Jones on his pre Fa cup motivation visit to palace said of palace "That's one of the hard working , friendly and productive football teams , I have visited since I have been sports visiting teams, the atmosphere is hard core the bond between the group superb"

Let's get behind our chosen team people and get that ethic and desire back, change is good let's get that noise going at Selhurst that we were famous for...!

Let's not another team sing "this is a library" like Swansea had the cheek to sing

Dear fans that's our responsibility be proud be palace

R.i.p Dear Staffie

As far as I understand he doesn't have the dressing room yet so can't very well lose it.

I don't like BFS, but this is not time to be sentimental about 'nice guys' such as Millen. We've been s*** for ages and need to upgrade our backroom staff. As far as I know BFS is quite forward thinking in his use of technology and sports science to help his methods and he needs a team that fits this style.

Great shame re KM - very loyal, quiet-voiced man who seemed to have the ear and hearts of the players, who's endured a succession of managers with aplomb and steadied the ship in between. This is a poor reward - even if it goes with the parish (scuse the pun). I really hoped they'd retain him in some capacity for some continuity and established understanding of all the players histories and potentials..... I hope he's been amply rewarded.

Hear, Hear, but sadly change was needed and to be fair to Sam he has had to do what he believes is necessary for the future wellbeing of the club and that after all is what should all have expected him to do as things have not been working out recently big time. Those who think Sam may lose the dressing room because of the changes made are deluded as Sam is a proven people Manager and he will always have the respect of the players irrespective of what changes he makes.

has anyone actually thought that the playing staff themselves may be as peeved about the current situation as the rest of us and that they may welcome the changes coming?

Ever been at work when a manager everyone 'loves' leaves and the rumours fly around about the new replacement? no -one knows whats going on until they get there and start.
